Making corrections to daily step count
The system will take the steps of the input device with the most steps and ignore all other entries from the same day. Manual entries will be added to this amount to allow you to make corrections when needed or add data when it was not tracked by your device. This is important as some people have multiple devices tracking their steps (sometimes at the same time). To prevent double counting the same steps, only one input method will be used for each day. By design, we may use different input methods each day.
Please note that not all events accept manual entries. When manual entry is disabled, you can contact the organizer of your event to request a correction.
If your daily steps are incorrect for whatever reason, you can make a correction using manual entry enyour event alows it. To make the correction, make a manual entry with the additional daily steps only.
For example, when your actual step count is 20000 steps but your fitness tracker only registered 15000, you should make a manual entry of 5000 for that day to correct for this.
