What To Do If Your History Doesn't Sync or Activities Are Missing

There are many reasons why your past activity data may not be added to your event. These reasons include, but are not limited to:

  • Device limitations. Many fitness trackers in the Android environment do not sync historical data.
  • The rules of your event have put limitations on how far back your what kind of historical data can be synced.
  • There is some kind of corruption between your tracker and the servers that host our leaderboards. There are many points of failure between fitness tracking devices and the platform that hosts our events. Any one of those points of failure can contribute to that problem. Only some of them are in our control to fix.

Regardless, there is a process for getting your past activities added to an event.

If your event supports manual entry, you can enter your activities as described at this link.

If your event doesn't support manual entry, please follow this process:

  1. Contact the person managing your event at your organization and let them know that your past data needs to be manually updated. Provide any additional information that will help your event manager consider your request. Screenshots from your tracker of the missing days are often helpful.
  2. If the organizer agrees to allow your activities to be manually added, enter the missing activities as described at this link.
  3. Once all missing activities are added, let the organizer of your event know, and they can be approved and added. If organizers want any help with this, they can contact our support team directly.

Our technical team is focused on making sure everything runs smoothly so that participants enjoy a fun and fair experience. We rely on the event organizers at your organization to guide and enforce the event rules, as they are best positioned to make decisions that align with your goals and community.
