Runkeeper

Runkeeper can be used as an app to track your fitness activities. The app is supported on both iOS (Apple Health) and Android (Google Health Connect).

Although a direct connection isn't possible with our app, you can easily link your account through an intermediary step.

Start:

First, you need to open Runkeeper, then follow these steps to ensure everything is set up correctly so that your activities are tracked.

iOS using Apple Health

  1. Navigate to Me (on the bottom left corner).
  2. Click on settings by tapping the gear icon.
  3. Click on Apps and Devices.
  4. In the Apps section, click on the Health app icon.
  5. Click on Connect to Health and turn on everything.
  6. Click on Allow.
  7. Open Apple Health.
  8. Select Sharing tab.
  9. Select Apps.
  10. You should see Runkeeper listed. Select Runkeeper.
  11. Allow Runkeeper to write all data options.

You’re now ready to use the app to monitor your runs and other fitness activities. The activities recorded through Runkeeper will be synchronized with our application with Apple Health as an intermediary. Android using Google Health Connect

At this time, Runkeeper does not support writing data to the Android environment and therefore will not sync with our app. Please refer to the Runkeeper website (excerpt below as of 6 May 2025).

Syncing Data from Runkeeper to Health Connect

At this time, it is not possible to sync your Runkeeper data to Health Connect, you will only be able to sync data from Health Connect to Runkeeper.
