Create a badge

You have created a leaderboard and now you want to make different badges for different goals.


Start:

Start these instructions by opening your event overview and then click on the event where the adjustment needs to be made.


Steps:

  1. Navigate to the leaderboard for which you want to create a badge.
  2. Click on manage badges or badges section.
  3. You will see three buttons:
  • Copy
  • New achievement
  • New badge
  1. Click on new badge.
  2. Fill out badge details:
    • You will see several sections: Badge, Popup Window, Configuration, Goal, and Email.

Steps for Each Section:

1. Badge:

Enter the name of the badge in this section.

2. Popup window:

    • Provide information about the badge, such as how participants can earn it or if they can earn extra points.
    • You can also add a photo or video. Make sure to save the badge before adding media.

3. Configuration:

Set the criteria for earning the badge. options include:

    • Active status: toggle to make the badge active or inactive.
    • Show on map: optionally, display the badge on the map.
    • Show on feed: display the badge achievements to other participants.
    • Include in challenge goal: decide if the badge is part of the challenge goal.
    • Active from/until: set specific dates for when the badge can be earned (optional).
    • Prerequisite badge: require another badge to be earned first (optional).
    • Bonus points: award additional points (e.g., extra steps) for earning the badge.

Final Steps:

  • After filling in all the necessary information, make sure to save the badge.
  • Ensure all configurations align with how you want the badge to function and be awarded.
