Connect with Polar
You can connect your profile with your Polar watch by going to the Connections section in your profile and clicking the Connect with Polar button to enable auto-syncing. Once this is done, all activities synced through Polar Flow will automatically be connected to your virtual challenges on the app.
Refresh your connection every 30 days
Due to Polar integration limitations, you may need to reconnect every 30 days to continue using it. Clicking Disconnect from the Polar options panel and reconnecting will refresh your connection for another 30 days.
Counting Steps
Polar's focus is on being an activity tracker, not a step tracker. Although some Polar devices do track steps, there is currently no way to upload those to the app.
Troubleshooting Polar Connection Issues
If your Polar device is not sending data to our app. we may request data from your Polar account to assist in our troubleshooting. Here are the steps to follow:
- Login to your Polar account on a web browser using the same credentials you used to connectour app to your Polar device.
- Scroll down to the Download your data section.
- Select the Download button. This will place a request to Polar to prepare a report. When the report is ready, you will receive an email asking you to reconnect to your account so you can download it.
- Click on the link in the email to access your report.
- Scroll down to the Download your data section.
- Select the Download button. This will download a .zip file containing several files.
- One or more of those files will have the name "training-session-" followed by the date of the session. Please send us the file(s) relevant to your issue.
We will delete the file once we confirm the contents relevant to your issue..
