Does the app track my position?

No. We only use GPS/location data when you are actively tracking an activity. The moment you finish your activity we will no longer use your GPS data.

The actual location data of your activities will not be shared with other users of the event. They can only see the summarized data of your activities, such as distance, duration, and the date (not time) of your activity.
