Strava
A. Connecting To Strava
Once you have the app installed you can login with your own account and then enable sync with Strava from the Me tab. When you select Strava you will be taken to the Strava website where you will be asked to login and give permission for our app to connect.
B Troubleshooting
B1. Stava Data Not Syncing
There are a few possible explanations why an activity from Strava is not synced.
The first step is to ensure Strava is correctly connected with your account. You can do this by checking Connected Devices on the Me tab in our app. You should also confirm on Strava that it lists a connection to us.
Other reasons for an activity not getting synced:
- Activities will only get synced when you are participating in an active challenge. If you are participating in a challenge but it has not yet started your activities will also not get synced. This limitation is made because of limits that Strava sets and is outside our control.
- By default we only sync your public activities. If you also want your private activities to sync you need to explicitly configure this from the Connections page.
If none of these work, temporarily disconnect from Strava and then immediately connect again.
If after going through all these steps you find that your data still isn't syncing, reach out to our support team using the app. To help isolate the issue, please include a screen shot showing your connection from our app to Strava as well as a screenshot of the applications your Strava account is connected to.
B2.When Linking Accounts Strava Displays Error Messages
When first establishing connections between our app and Strava, some users have experienced 403 or 404 web connection errors (see example below). This is a connection issue on Strava's end. The best course of action is to try again later. If the issue persists, contact Strava support.
