Copying Participants From a Previous Event to a New Event

The Link follow-up event feature allows you to carry over participants from a previous event to a new event without requiring participants to join your new event. Once you link a follow-up event, the new event will appear as an available event in the participant's profile. To link an event:

  1. Select the vertical ellipsis () to the right of the EDIT button in the admin console.

  2. Select Link follow-up event.
  3. In the window that appears, select the new event you want to link to in the Follow-up Event drop-down. Note that the follow-up event must be published and assigned to your organization to appear in the drop-down.


  4. Select Copy registrations if your original event used personalized invitations as opposed to a generic QR code, and you want to maintain that setting and the invitation list.
  5. Select Auto-join participants if you want participants from the original event to carry over to the new event.
  6. Select LINK EVENT.

Your new event will now be populated with the original event's participant and registration data.
