Creating a Trial Event

With MoveZenGo, you can test our features for free by creating an event for up to five (5) participants for up to two weeks. This can be done with any of our Ready-to-go Challenges or with a blank event. The easiest way to set up one of our most common challenges as a trial is through the trial link. When you navigate to the free trial link, you are offered several options:

You can choose the competition structure:

You can also choose the type of challenge for the trial. The options are:

  • Step Challenge - this option allows you to rank participants and teams with or without step conversions. It will also rank individuals in a separate leaderboard that will rank participants by who most consistently reached a daily step goal of 7500 steps. In a paid event, you have many options for configuring a daily (or weekly) step goal. If you choose to include step conversions, your participants will get credit for activities that they track, even if they are not step-oriented (e.g., swimming, cycling, weightlifting, yoga).
  • Total Active Time - this option will rank participants and teams based on who was active for the longest total duration throughout the challenge. It will also rank individuals in a separate leaderboard that will rank participants by who most consistently reached a daily step goal of 30 minutes of activity. In a paid event, you have many options for configuring a daily (or weekly) active time goal
  • Total Distance - this option will rank participants and teams based on who accumulated the most distance in kilometers or miles during the challenge.

With all three challenge types, you have the option to include a small sample of our virtual journeys to your challenge.

Once you select all your options, you will be prompted to enter your email address and a name for the organization you represent. You will also be prompted to agree to our terms and conditions.

Once you have entered all the required information and reviewed and approved our terms and conditions, you are ready to CREATE TRIAL CHALLENGE. Select the CREATE TRIAL CHALLENGE button and you will be taken to a confirmation screen.

Your event is now created. You will receive an email at the address you entered with instructions on what to do next. Note that at this time, there are still no participants who have joined the event. The next step is for you and any other trial participants to join by scanning the provided QR code on your phone or by selecting the JOIN ON THIS DEVICE button on the confirmation email.

Once you join the event, you will receive another email that will instruct you how to view the Admin Panel.

If you do not receive the second email with admin instructions, if may be because the email address you used when joining the event was different from the email address you used when you created it. Check your other email inboxes to make sure the admin email was not routed there.
