How To Clear A Persistent Zero Step Activity

Sometimes tracker vendors will make changes to their ecosystem without informing partners. One symptom of that you may see is that your step counts from your device suddenly show up as zero in the app.

Usually, we can fix this across all affected users but sometimes the zero persists. If this should happen to you, this can usually be cleared up by navigating to the Me tab in the app and:

  1. Selecting the greater-than symbol (>) to the right of the zero-count activity.
  2. Select the trash can icon in the upper right of the Activity Details screen.
  3. Select the DELETE button at the bottom of the confirmation screen.
  4. Navigate back to the Me screen by selecting the less-than symbol (<) at the top of the screen.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the Me tab page and select Manage Connected Fitness Trackers.
  6. Select your connected tracker.
  7. Select the Manage button at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Select Sync Now.

Your activity should now reflect the same step count as your activity tracker.
