Change the Team Captain
The first person to join a team is assigned the role of Team Captain. This is the case regardless of which team assignment method you choose when you design your challenge.
Team Captains have privileges that allow them to edit how the team appears on a leaderboard and in their team profile. These options include:
- Team Name
- Team Description
- Whether the team is public or hidden from the view of participants who are not members of the team
- Team Type (ADVANCED)
- Design including:
- Team Icon
- Team Logo
- Team Color
- Header Image for top of team profile page
Event administrators have these same privileges over all teams.
Steps for Changing Team Captain
If you want to change the team captain, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to the Teams section in the Eventmanager
- Click on DETAILS next to the team whose captain you want to change.
- Scroll Member status.
- Select MAKE CAPTAIN next to the participant to whom you want to assign captain privileges.
Note: It is only possible to have one person as the team captain.
